Embroidered Topiary

Close up of Embroidered Topiary
The flowers are Suffolk Puffs except the blue one in the middle. It is just ribbon gathered. All have beads sewn into the centres.
The stem is fabric and the swigs have been embroidered in stem stitch and lazy daisy stitch. I used Jewel embroidery thread that is thicker and pearly. The pot is embroidered with blanket stitch.
I even painted and varnished my frame to match in with the design. I have rubbed gold on top of the pink Matisse paint. You can buy the paint from Cropworks.
I love to embroider and make up things. I didn't follow a pattern for this but made it up as I went.
The fabric flowers are Suffolk Puffs (some people call them YoYos)
